DEADLINE ALERT: Space and Quantum Technology forum: DIN, NSSN and Macquarie Uni invitation

The Defence Innovation Network, NSW Smart Sensing Network and Macquarie University  invite the defence and science community to pitch to a Virtual Industry Forum focused on Space and Quantum Technologies.

The Deadline for Expressions of Interest in delivering a short, 7-minute Pitch is 16 November 2020.

NSW is home to world-leading space and quantum research and development and one of the most diverse space ecosystems in Australia. This event will showcase the State’s innovations presented by universities and industry in specific areas of interest. Participants will hear and have the opportunity to connect with a number of representatives from Defence, the Space Industry Association of Australia and SmartSat CRC.


  • Advanced space-based sensor technologies for situational awareness and decision making
  • Advanced secure, resilient and pervasive communication systems
  • Resilient satellite systems, sensors and intelligence
  • Advanced space domain awareness
  • Quantum technologies for space


The final program, including speakers, will be released closer to the date.

If you are an industry representative or researcher from one of the DIN and NSSN member universities and would like to give a short 7-minute pitch, please register your interest by COB, 16 November 2020.
