DIN calls for problem statements

The Sydney-based Defence Innovation Network (DIN) is calling for problem statements from industry and academia in NSW with a high potential to satisfy Defence’s capability needs. Deadline for submissions is Friday 26 February 2021.

Authors of selected problems will be invited to pitch their ideas at the virtual DIN Sandpit Workshop in March 2021 attended by academics, defence and industry representatives.

Some of the problems will form the basis for a call for project proposals to DIN member universities to address these problem statements directly.

Successful proposals will be funded to the tune of up to $200,000 under the DIN Pilot Project Grants program. You can view previously funded projects here.
