Lockheed Martin Australia undertakes industry capability scan
Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control business is seeking Expressions of Interest from globally competitive Australian businesses with capabilities across a range of areas related to advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include:
- United States Army
- United States Navy
- United States Air Force
- United States Marine Corps
- National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
- dozens of foreign allies
MFC is set for significant growth in the Australian market across a range of projects covering mission segments such as:
- Integrated Air and Missile Defence
- Precision Fires
- Close Combat
- Strike Weapons
- Air Superiority and Energy
There is a range of specific Defence contracts at various stages of the acquisition lifecycle, and collectively they offer some common opportunities across a number of Australian industrial capabilities.
