NSW appoints first-ever Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet and Deputy Premier Paul Toole have announced a new Cabinet team to focus on delivering the NSW Government’s vision for the state. The renewed line-up, announced on 20 December, includes NSW’s first-ever Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology, Alister Henskens SC, who is also Leader of the House in the Legislative Assembly.
There new Cabinet includes the three new portfolios of Minister for Cities, Minister for Homes and Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology. NSW has invested heavily in new space and advanced manufacturing facilities over the past two years.
