2021 Defence Human Sciences Symposium (DHSS) – call for abstracts

Academia, industry and Defence are invited to submit abstracts for the Defence Human Sciences Symposium 2021 (DHSS), the principal Australian forum for those interested in the application of human sciences to enhance Defence capability.

DHSS 2021 will be co-hosted by Victoria University and DST Group and will be held at Victoria University’s Melbourne CBD Campus, 29 November-1 December.

Human performance research is necessary to ensure the ADF is able to meet the challenges of the future operating environment. DST Group has already established HPRNet to focus research efforts in this area across academia. DHSS 2021 will provide a forum for delegates to showcase human performance research that has the potential to contribute to Defence outcomes.

Submissions close on 22 August.
