Competition: Autonomy in challenging environments Ph.2

The UK’s Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) is seeking proposals to improve the capability of autonomous systems in challenging environments. Specifically, it’s looking for technologies to broaden the environmental and performance envelope of unmanned autonomous or semi-autonomous systems, including:

  • Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs)
  • Unmanned Surface vehicles (USVs)
  • Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs)
  • Unmanned Air Systems (UASs)
  • Hybrid Systems

In Phase 1 DASA aimed to understand the feasibility, impact and potential military application of innovative ideas. In Phase 2 it aims to develop potential solutions with a focus on merging solutions and fusing learned knowledge in order to improve performance.
