DEADLINE ALERT: DST Research Program Brief – Enhanced Human Performance proposals
The Defence Science Institute (DSI) reports that DST plans to hold a Research Program Brief on the topic of Enhanced Human Performance on Wednesday 27 January 2021. DST is issuing an Open Call for study proposals in the area of Human Biotechnologies under the Next Generation Technology Fund (NGTF) Enhanced Human Performance Theme. The research program brief will provide an opportunity for clarifications and questions to ne answered.
Applicants will be asked to propose R&D plans for one of two projects:
- The Performance Patch project aims to advance the real-time measurement and prediction of Warfighter readiness and performance
- The Cognitive Gut project aims to enhance Warfighter cognitive performance and resilience through the adaptation of the gut microbiome.
Nominations to attend the briefing should be sent via email to Lisa Headey (lisa.headey@dst.defence.gov.au) by 25 January to be provided a Microsoft Teams invite. For security purposes nominations must include the nominee’s full name, organisation, position, mobile phone number and email address.
The closing date for research proposals is 23 February, 2021.
